This new planner format was designed to be flexible, to fit your needs by offering you ways to categorize your lists, action items, and tasks. We wanted to give you the ability to track your schedule while organizing your to-dos. But each person that uses the Week on One Page is different and so is the way the planner format is used. That is the beauty of it!
But, like you, we have been curious… how do YOU use the Week on One Page planner? So we asked some of our friends to share how they’re using the new Whitney English planner and we’ll be sharing their answers over the next few weeks! Seeing how different people stay organized is so helpful. It gives us inspiration and motivation to try new things and to figure out what works best for our own schedules and our own to-do lists. Sharing is truly caring and we love this community of planner people.
What prompted you to buy the Week on One Page planner?
I saw the planner on someone’s Instagram and thought it was BEAUTIFUL. I am a hot mess right now organizationally, juggling homeschooling, travel, kid activities, teen jobs and activities, doctor’s appts, etc. I’ve tried to paper planners in the past but the daily ones don’t meet my needs… and I never stick with it. The beauty and layout of this planner appealed to me a great deal.
The most popular feature of the new planner has been all the pages for lists. How are you using the list section of your planner? What’s been most helpful?
The list feature was a huge selling point for me because I use the Notes App on my phone constantly to list stuff. I’m sure things will change over time, but last week I had lists going for homeschool work/tasks, personal reminders, and a general to-do list. This week I’ve added a habits list for me and my kids. In the back of the planner, I’ve got year-long lists going for books and homeschool ideas/curriculum (so far). As long as I stay consistent, I love that I’ll have a paper record of the year.
Has the planner helped you get more organized this year? What changes have you noticed by using the Week on One Page planner?
It’s only been a week, but I feel more focused with my time and days.
